Time Out Chicago Kids is going to highlight the “Castles in the Sky” series at Gene Siskell, including the showing of Princess Mononoke at which you will be speaking. I was hoping to just get a few comments from you about Studio Ghibli or Princess Mononoke. How do you think young viewers used to digital animation may respond to hand drawn works? Or, how would you characterize Miyazaki’s mode of storytelling? Anything like that to pique our readers’ interest. Also, if you could give us a taste of what you will be discussing, we can hint at what viewers can expect from your talk. I love the film, so I am personally quite excited.

Reminds me of something I witnessed when standing in line for Lincoln in 2012.
Behind me I heard someone say to his friend “Hey, it’s that movie Lincoln Vampire Slayer”. His friend responded “No, that’s a movie about Lincoln as president and the cival war”. There wes a few seconds pause while this is being processed then, “Nahhh… I want to see Lincoln Vampre Slayer”.
